Corona Technologies has always been highly regarded for their innovations in almost all branches of science, revolutionary discoveries in farming and medicine, and their complete and total domination over Earth. But thanks to their generosity (and squadrons of police robots), nobody really complains.

Cybernetics has always been their strongest point, being the first company (and only company, after the great Corporation War of 2035) to introduce cybernetic body mods; mechanical prosthetics one could get at their own leisure for utility and fashion. The best part is, once a person had their original limbs removed and replaced by mechanical ones (via a surgical procedure known as a "whack job"), they could swap between their organic and cybernetic limbs at their own leisure thanks to the Cybernetic Isolation Collar Link, or "CICL" (pronounced "sickle"), a device attached to either stump that allowed easy removal of body parts.

The most recent incarnation of the CICL is one that isolates the user's head from their body, which allows one to directly link their brain to an entirely robotic body while their organic body stays in a safe, dormant area. These "Skull-Borgs" at the moment are limited to military combat suits, though other mech suits, such as this Corona Technologies Cranio-Isolation Surgical Unit, have been met with flying success. Recreational mech suits are soon to come.
