This one was kind of hard to share, but it's the only digital image I have of Anketin and Pirate together, so... ;x;

The story behind this one...!
I had just started college and was living 4 hours away from my family as well as Pirate's original owner (my boyfriend at the time).
To try and help mend that distance we were both feeling with, I drew this up. He's kind of the reason I don't like Skype much these days.
I've distanced myself from Pirate, but I couldn't bear to pull his design from Anketin, so he's remained with her, anticipating a few changes in his design. Considering their bond in the backstory, I didn't have the heart to change any of it, which I guess says a lot about me and the whole situation.

Anyways... It's a piece I don't much reflect on just because of its ties, but honestly, I love these two being who they are together. Pirate needs a change of name and design, but until then, enjoy.
