It's Spring Love... errrr... Hate, with Vermillion. Seriously, this rattata is the ray of sunshine during a heatwave.

CeeGee for all the nice PCA folks for Spring Romance stuff. Yeah, Vermillion crashed that party good.
This was a good chance for me to try out my new scanner as well. It turned out really well. And I love how the colors came out on Vermillion. Now if only I could get his coat in real life. That looks freakin' sweet colored like that.
Vermillion is copywrite Me.
PCA is the PCA folks.
Pokemon and Rattatas are copywrite Game Freak & Nintendo and stuff.

Nice to see another one of Team Zero Percent in full glorious color. First one I've seen with the team jacket on. I must admit... I know I should have expected it, but I just wasn't expecting that color scheme. I should of, it is obvious in retrospect, but without color it completely blindsided me.
Even more shocking is is seeing Vermillion in blinding purple. I know he's a Rattata so I should have expected it once again, but with his in your face attitude the bold coloration blindsided me after all the greyscale. I will say, he does manage to not be cute... at least in the bows and ribbons sense. Probably makes all the girls who like bad boys swoon head over heels.
Other art comments... not much else to say. Anatomy seems all in place to my non-artist eye, though given with what they say about artists in their work I'm sure you will be able to look back and prove me wrong in a month or two. Seriously though, with all the workout your coloring skills get with being an artist for LXF, it is just a shame more of your work doesn't get refined to this point.

Actually, that's not the "Team Jacket", mostly because there is no team jacket for the 0%s. That's actually the original coat I patterned for Vermillion. Unlike the other teams, the Zeroes don't have a standard uniform. About the closest they had was the "0%" shirt that most of them would wear, or had on some part of their outfit.
Yeah, Vermillion's very... purple. The color is actually a bit darker than the normal rattata purple because otherwise he would have burned out some corneas, and that's not good. And as much as I'm sure some might find Vermillion dashing... he's really not the type to be tied down. Plus he's got this horrible case of saying the first thing that comes to his mind. That alone probably kills most chances right there.
And yeah, I know. The Zeroes need more color. It's one of those things where normally I hate inking my artwork in real life, so if I color it, it looks meh. This was actually done coloring it in photoshop. Turned out okay. About the same results that I normally get, except for when my tablet was lagging, but that happens on occasion. Photoshop 6 and Vista don't play together well at times.
