Been dabbling with character design again
DoctorBees and I have been piecing together her story as we think of things; currently she's a spirit/yokai, who in her previous (human) life was incredibly greedy and dishonorable. But after passing on, she finds she can't enter the afterlife and instead is reincarnated into a horse until her debts have been paid. She currently operates an inn for other yokai which only appears at night, but still gets the occasional mortal visitor...
After years of rebellion against her situation, she finally calms down and is resigned to her fate, if only to earn her final rest at last. She gradually becomes more solemn and quiet, yet still accommodating to her guests.
She enjoys a good wine and is known to smoke a pipe on occasion.
