After making a clumsy and unsuccessful attempt on the life of a high-ranking priestess of Lolth, this unlucky assassin in training quickly found himself with way more limbs than he could handle. On the plus side, he was restituted his blunt, cheap dagger - to fend for himself in the cold, dank dephts of the Underdark to wich he was banished shortly thereafter...
Driders are definitely one of my favourite old-school Dungeons & Dragons monsters. I mean, it doesn´t get much cooler than dark elf spidertaurs.

Thanks! Sadly, you don´t see too many crawlies around here.
And yeah, I could totally see him as a random encounter in a dark cave of the subterranean realms, a shy and non-hostile little guy who is just trying to survive down there, with a more or less lengthy optional quest to explain and expand upon his story...
