Something of my own design and though it is for Star Wars, it plays a bit of a homage to the Cylons.

The BC2 Elite Centurion was developed for a paranoid Separatist admiral during the Clone Wars to be used as guard units while he was on his home world. Before the droids could be shipped to him, the admiral's paranoia proved to be well founded when a rival naval officer had his killed. The 20 droids that had been built ended up being stationed between four different Separatist bases. Each droid has a blade and shield made of refined cortosis ore and as such, were able to stand up to a lightsaber in combat.
