This is an orca whale that I painted on a wooden plaque I bought at Ben Franklin here in town. It took a good while to get it painted just right and to get the waterspray looking decent. But I am rather proud of this piece.

That really looks good, nice job hun!
I couldn't do something like that ^^, I'm too impatient when it comes to traditional media of some sort, and it's rather weird that I don't loose my nerves every time I open photoshop 'cause those rare works I make with it cenrtainly take time a lot more than what it takes me to colour something via coloured pencils....

Thank you very much. I'm glad you think that it looks good. I didn't even place with that orca that I painted. I spent a good time on that. *Beats fair judges* I guess they don't know good art when they see it. Next year I'm putting in a deer that I'm working on right now. I'm running dry on ideas really.
I should do that next time. I did a black leopard head with some of the shoulders and chest showing, done in pencil and I got first place with that entry.
I was going to do a White tailed deer done the same way next year. I figure "Hey, deer are well known around here so why not?"
I can't draw flowers to save my life though.
