Haven, my grey wolf/German shepherd mutt, cast in a floral portrait!
Not sure if he's really happy about that. BUT WHO CARES. MUAHAHA.
This portrait killed me because brown pelts are an arse to mix with floral colours. Those lilies were supposed to be star-gazer pink lilies until I realized they clashed with brown. Cue colour-scheme finding hell.
But heck. So worth it. I'm very happy with this one (even if grumpy mutt isn't).
Haven is a very old character of mine, since 1998. I guess you could say I grew up with him, revamping him over the years. He was a gentle, sweet and trusting pup in the beginning-- but now that he's much older he's quiet, collected and quite serious. He masks quite a golden heart behind that steely fuzzy face though, and that's why I cherish him so
