Pretty god damn awesome to me!

heheheh. I like it. You know, sometimes a bland/nonexistant background can achieve a greater effect than even the most detailed ones. I, personally, like the effect it creates here, especially with the lighting and his expression.
The only thing that I would point out as needing to be worked on is his crotch- particularly where his thighs meet his body. The solid lines all the way across look awkward.
