Though my thoughts on the battle system are a little different.

You have your Health and Icon, but when it comes to attacks, it'll go like this.
You'll have some Power Points (PP).
Most moves will require a certain amount of PP.
Here is my move set for example.

Battle Claw 0 PP
Scratch 1 PP
Growl 1 PP
Vine Whip 3 PP
Pepper Breath 3 PP

Specialized and stronger moves tend to cost more.
And there is one normal attack which cost nothing, but has no real advantage and is weaker.

I know the HP and PP might seem like a lot for a level eight, but hey... You don't know about how my idea works so... x3
