Weird. I remember binge-watching Neon Genesis Evangelion back in college, and then becoming a fan of the animē, and then...being unable to really recall anything about what happened in it. I should revisit it. If nothing else, because I listened to "Zankoku na Tenshi no These" recently.

I do remember liking Rei's design, though. The blue hair, the red irises, the face that could channel pity and apprehension. All that. Plus, "rei" can/does mean "zero" in Japanese. I can relate to that. And that wasn't as witty as I thought...
