Yes and no. Every priest of Solare receive a silver crown when they're no longer considered adepts. Akanatos (we could say bishops) gets appointed by one of the patriarchs and receive a jewelled crown and a silver sceptre.
Akanatos usually end up ruling over some lands within the Solare Empire.
