The two most valuable pieces of skiing advice received from Writer:
1. Do more boogie!
2. Be better.
He took me up 1000+ meters above sea level on an icy mountain wearing planks designed to slide on icy mountains. Then told me there was no way down other than to slide really-really-really fast down the mountain and try not to do so on my face. At least I started to master the prestigious art of "sitting down."
By the end I wanted to kill you, kill the mountain and my snow boots wanted to kill me. And I'm pretty certain we're never playing Munchkin. Ever. Again.
Yeah, I had fun though. Lots of fun! A huge amount of wonderful fun! Next time, I'll have to designate a 'cider suitcase.' Because good grief do you guys not get any that is even resembling something approximately decent!

P.S.S. I never fell flat on my face! At least, I don't think I did. The continual blows to the head may have muddled my brain...
