I want to make something super clear, the story is HEAVILY taken from the fairly recent game SUPERHOT so im throwing up a ***SPOILER WARNING*** if you care about that games kinda ham fisted plot XD it had a really cool element that I felt needed to be retold.


Its an average day at Titans tower, Robin's away helping Batman on a case and everyone else is enjoying breakfest when Cyborg enters with a package that came in the mail, they open it up to find a game system inside and a note that reads "you saved our studio from destruction while fighting a villain, please accept our latest game as a sign of thanks." overjoyed by the news Beast boy and Cyborg rush over and set the system up only to fight over who gets to play first, much to Ravens disgust she tells them "Will you two grow up! its just a game", unphased by her insult Beast boy replies "You say that Raven but you know you wanna try it too" Raven ignores BB and goes back to her book, thats when Beast boy gets an idea, "Tell ya what Raven, if you try the game first, ill clean my room. " Raven peeked over her book and thought it over for a moment, she didn't like the idea of the game but it would be nice to not deal with the smell of Beast boys room, Raven lets out a sign and agree's.

Raven sits down on the couch, puts on the glove controllers and before she can put the visor on Starfire flys in and asks "May I join in the having of fun " Raven nods not really caring if Star plays or not, the two put on the gloves and visors and the game boots up, right away they feel a strange sensation in they're heads; suddenly they're screens pull up data on both of them without having to type in a thing, the game then boots up and in a virtual world Raven now has Starfires powers and Starfire has Ravens powers, something they've experienced before but this time they can blast bad guys easily, racking up points like its nothing. The entire time Raven never once cracks a smile but they keep playing for over half an hour until a bored Cyborg says "When are you guys gonna be done, we wanna play too ya know! " Raven pauses the game and takes the visor off "I thought you'd never ask" she coldly retorts as she hands Beast boy the gear " Make sure you use air freshener when you clean" Beast boy was a bit distraught his plan didn't help Raven losen up but at least he gets to play as he places the gear on and try's to join Starfire who is uncharacteristically quiet while playing, only to have the Visor display a message [System locked - User: RAVEN - Required] making BB unable to play, Cyborg asks Starfire to let him try, she hands him the visor and gloves and gets a similar message, and looks to Beast boy and says "Hate to say it man, but it looks like the game will now only play for Raven and Star" Beast boy cant believe it but knows if Cyborg said, it must be true and sulks off to his room while Starfire places the visor back on and continues to play, Cyborg decides to go work on the T-car leaving Raven alone in the room with Starfire as she plays the game, periodically peeking over her book to watch.
Hour's go by and Star hasn't said a word, she just keeps playing until its 9 pm, Ravens been sitting there pretending to read her book for just as long but has finally had enough, "okay Starfire I think its about time for bed", but she gets no response, Raven walks over and pulls the visor off "Star!! did you hear me?! its time for bed! " Stars eyes focus back onto Raven and she nods "yes friend Raven, you are right, I should get some sleep, good night." the two go they're separate ways the lights go out....for now.

Around midnight Ravens door peeks open as she floats out to the living room not making a sound, only to be startled by Starfire who also snuck out of her room, "Raven? what are you doing here? " Raven Embarrassingly looks away from Starfire and says "Look, I didn't want to admit to Beast boy I was having fun, so if you keep it a secret ill play the game with you...deal? " Starfire's eyes light up with joy as she hugs Raven and they both sit on the couch and power the game on as Raven feels that strange sensation in her head as it starts up and continues playing Co-op with Starfire once more.
What was ment to be just an hour or two, turned into several as the morning sun rises and neither and non the wiser as the boys walk into the living room and surprised to see them playing, but none more so then Beast boy who proclaims " See Raven !! I knew you'd like it, admit it! " Raven turns to Beast boy and tells him "You were right, this is fun, thanks beast boy" BB and Cyborg weren't expecting a complement and are a little freaked out by it, "oookay then, well you just keep on havin fun then" as the two left the room leaving Raven and Starfire to they're game as continue to play for hours on end, only taking breaks to eat and go to the bathroom, they're completely hooked and loving every moment of it, but unknown to them there is a sinister force pulling they're strings.

In a underground lab miles away from Titan tower rest the evil computer villain Overload as he laughs in trumpth, the Game was sent by him and was a trap designed to manipulate the brainwaves of the titans, conditioning them to play the game constantly as it fed subliminal messages into they're minds and conditioned them to want to serve him, Raven and Starfire were the ones who fell for the trap and after 3 days of playing almost non-stop they're minds were ready. Overload began converting Raven and Starfires mind's into Data and downloading them into specially designed mother boards to act as they're new brains, leaving behind they're bodies and now residing alongside they're new master but all wasn't finished yet, in order for them to be of any use to him, Overload prepared synthetic bodies for they're Data minds to use, the goo poured down like soft serve ice creme and quickly took shape, with they're powers sampled and recreated within a container the two digital titans downloaded into they're new temporary bodies and flew off to full fill they're mission, 98% of they're minds now belonged to Overload but the remaining 2% still tethered them to they're weak human bodies, in order to truly be free to serve they're master, they had to destroy they're shell's.
