curiosity, have you ever seen any of the guilford low-number units? (below #100 i mean, i've seen one out by an industrial spur somewhere between lowell and ayer but that was at least 4 years ago before i had jobs that restricted my railfanning with a friend)

There is one I believe over on the highland line near Waterbury CT alot of the Pan AM southern stuff still holds the old Guilford logo though I only seem them on occasion

I have seen the heritage units. Like the two F units PAR1, PAR2 and the two high hood Geeps. But I'm pretty sure the lowest numbered units still in service are in the 300's

i think it may have been privately owned or leased by the company, forgot exactly which business it was but it was something that sent stuff out in hoppers. It had the guilford logos and paint scheme, and it was a rather low number. But I have seen the PAR1/2 units on business trains on the rare occasion. And i see a few oddities on occasion now on the way to/from work sometimes, few weeks ago i saw a weird amtrak consist. One loco, one amfleet coach, one converted f40 (the cab cars on the downeaster)
