Peppi Bow is a female gungan shaak herder. A shaak is one of those giant flea-things that trampled Anakin Skywalker during the sex scene in " Star Wars, Episode 2, Attack of the Clones " ( Rated R ). Peppi was in one of the... most difficult-to-love story arcs in " The Clone Wars " 'toon ... that episode had a mad scientist and a " race for the cure ". It also had some cool stuff though, like Peppi here. She's balancing on some sort of periscope dealie like she did in the episode in which she was featured.

She loves him because he's in touch with his sensitive side. u/////W/////u Jar Jar was always meant to be a performance artist (like Ahmed Best, himself), but his culture didn't offer him that opportunity because it was based on "tradition," illustrating that even the so-called "good guys" - culturally speaking - have oppressive aspects to them. No as oppressive as the Empire, of course, but the Gungans and the Naboo have more in common with the Trade Federation than either of their cultures would be willing to admit. I understood right from the start, way back in 1999, the point George was trying to make through Jar Jar - that the individual has value despite the prejudices of "society."
