More old stuff, bald Jericho who belongs to carnivaldog as a creepy treedog and my rat character, Pestis, also mysteriously bald. I don't believe I have any other pics of Pestis up, which is a shame. He's gross.

This is just incredible. I keep coming back to look at it. The blank look on Jericho's face contrasting the look of desperation on Pestis' is really intense. The soft, pink shading on Jericho is so...I don't know, it makes me think o cotton candy in a really good way.
God damn you, now I have to be that guy, the one who favorites like WAY too many pictures at once. Also, the one who won't shut up with the comments. ;_;
This is beautiful. I just... have no words. The drippy filth and the tree roots are my absolute favorite part, as well as the way you drew both their heads.

I'm very impressed with how accurately you've anthropomorphized a rat (that thick tail is a nice touch!). I especially like how he looks /afflicted/ with disease, cursed with pestilence (since a lot of people think rats created plague rather than carried and suffered from it themselves). I like him a lot: especially how his head markings mimic a skull. And God that red sun(?)... For some reason it reminds me of Superman + the yellow sun, except where the red is like the Bull Terrier's nourishment and it's entering some kind of growth/photosynthesis stage--or perhaps the opposite where he finds himself weakened and frozen by it? Huh. Out of curiosity, does that red light/circle symbolize anything, or was it just a decision of yours to include it for aesthetic purposes?
What TehSean said about the 'Wishing Well' title was very eye-opening. I had assumed the red light streaming down was the light from the top of a well that they were, either metaphorically or otherwise, stuck at the bottom of. His comment made much more sense: about the futility of wishing someone with such a debilitating sickness 'well.' But then, Jericho seems implanted in the ground and immobilized, like he's incapable of helping regardless. So it's like... a symbol for how he can't help no matter how much Pestis might need it because he not only has the plague but IS the plague since having it means perpetuating it.
In any case, this picture is very tragic! It reminds me of classic paintings. It tells a story through the dramatic positions of the characters with each other. Very much like a painting of a leper pleading at Christ for healing. In case all that didn't say it... GREAT JOB! One of my favorite pictures in the world.
