Nishidor is banished from the Kokori forest for accidentally killing The Great Diku Tree. He gets to have one last goodbye with Saria before leaving.
This is page 3 of the Zelda parody comic I decided against doing - there were only two pages I liked in the whole comic that I wanted to color. They they were the most touching parts of the game for me, so they're both basically word for word instead of stupid gags.
The whole story line with the kokoris was my favorite. :3 Bum buh bah~!

I didn't realize until I made my comic about it that he's that first sage at the Temple of Time.
It finally explained where the owl was 7 years later and who the hell he was! :D
I like him too, even if we all accidentally hit A and have to listen to his long speeches again and again. ):

Well, of course, providing he's not this link:

Hehe, I think it was maybe a page or two - that's all. They skimmed past a lot since the story's so big.
The game was so big, I also found it difficult to get down all the necessary scenes and some others. It's over 20 pages - but it's not good enough to re-draw and post everything for it. 8D

eah. 8D There are 7 medallions to get, 3 emeralds to get (if I was able to limit each to just a page), and then moments with Saria, Malon, Dark Link, Ganon, and so on that take up the rest.
Haha, actually I was going to do a story with Aina while she was comatose - but I don't think I'll do it either, too sappy.
GASPAAAAAARD! :3

Nicely done, as always, my good, Ham. I'm particularly fond of the coloring scheme that you decided to go with. Really captures that deep, forest feeling. Kind of like an emotional flashback of sorts.
Oh, and kudos on the "Ocarina" joke. In considering what my friend wrote about her, with the statement you have her saying here, I nearly lost it! <LoL!>

I like matching color and emotions! It's especially useful for lazy comic artists, because there are so many colors to use in so many spots... I don't know if "less is more" applies, but sometimes coloring by feeling can have a neater impact than coloring rationally. (:
Little jokes like that were easy to make with the series. 8D Other people might not get it... but even the fire boss, Volvagia, just needs an N slipped in somewhere to sound naughty. :3 I'm glad you got a kick out of that bit o' humor! :3

<LoL!> You know, now that you mention it, Volvagia could be quite the naughty dragon indeed. In that case, considering the weapon used to fight the boss, it gives new meaning to "Bringing the Hammer Down."
I really enjoy how art can use shading and colors to portray an emotion or mood. Aside from your work, some of the best works of this nature come from movies like "Sin City" and scenes in "The Land Before Time" movies. There are more, but I can't think of them off hand.
With "Sin City" you have colors being applied at JUST the right places to portray a key point or item of interest. In "LBT 5" and "LBT 10" there are scenes where the entire scene changes to match the danger of the particular moment. Then, when the danger passes, the colors return to normal.

!! Ahaha, I didn't ever think of the hammering I could do! I usually just solved boss fights with my beloved hookshot. ;O; This is why teamwork makes stories so much fun, someone might think of an idea you completely missed!
The Land Before Time was beautiful! Well, not just a good movie, but beautifully illustrated too! Hopefully all the sequels did a good job of matching the quality too. :3 I remember how when things got more chaotic there was a lot more red in the scene, and everything would be darker and more dramatic - and then when they found the place they were looking for all the beautiful colors it had were restored! :3

Right! I honestly think the way they portrayed the wastelands in the original LBT to be quite dramatic. An effect they used that also was of grand interest was the ash falling as they climbed the mountain that Littlefoot hoped would initially lead them into the Great Valley before he and Cera fought. It really put you there.
As for the sequels, and there ARE many, they were mostly hit-or-miss. 2, 3, and 4 were okay. 5 was great and featured some very lovely animation and concepts. 6 seemed kind of like a stretch. However, 7 was spectacular! The concepts pursued in it were great and the ending, based on all the series had shown so far, was a total surprise. We get back to so-so for 8 and 9 with 10 being a bit above average. 11, 12, and 13 were, as I think about it, more about getting ready for the Cartoon Network series and finally giving people who have followed the series what they wanted, which was an actual BUILD on the story.
*cush-cush* Sorry if I got carried away. Aside from the obvious stuff we talk about, Land Before Time is, by far, one of my strongest geek points. *blush* *cush-cush*
