She was built like a racehorse. A muscular, lithe body. She had a graceful stride and could cover distances very quickly. Her tail served as a rudder during locomotion. Her wings were built for speed, long and narrow. Yet, they were wide so she could easily glide or swim in the water. What an intelligent design this species had.
Her eyes were large and built for seeing in the dark as well as the light incredibly well. When she blinked I noticed a second eyelid, clear this one was. Obviously they were a natural pair of goggles for her eyes.
I also noticed when she opened her mouth her canine teeth were flattened to the roof of her mouth. Upon further inspection at a later date, I discovered that her canines were hollow like a snakes'. Most definetely venom was to come from them. When she roared her venom canines would spring forward in case they were needed.
