I've been wanting to do some Ark fan-art for a long time; so here's my beloved spinosaurus Malcolm having a nice tasty soon-to-be ex-survivor for breakfast. I wanted to capture the essence of the Ark Spino's excited galloping in the pursuit of his prey, and the ease with which those precise scissoring jaws can swiftly snap up meals. The slender birdlike neck flexing effortlessly as the hapless human is flicked casually into the dinosaur's throat, soon to fill his smoothly-rounded cavernous belly...
Myself and Karlos spent the better part of a night taming Malcolm in a remote hostile location, frantically making narcotics (he was our first big dinosaur and we were noobs so twas a big deal :B ). Sadly he is currently suffering from three-leg-syndrome; the hallmark of a lazy artist. :D
The dinosaurs of Ark are endearing and especially easy to personify, I've become a bit emotionally attached to him and infer him to have a playful puppy-like nature... mostly due to the doglike gait of spinosauruses when they run, and his old habit of mischeivously eating fellow survivors when they log out.
Hope ya like him! ^^p

Theres even a cool soundmod in the steam workshop that gaves most of the Dinos JP or other more fitting sounds for movement, roars and idle sounds ^^
Sadly till no, no Spino roar, but will be implemented when the Devs bring in the animation, wich is already in the dev kit ^^ then you get the JP3 roar or the spino with that mod hehe ^^

Probably, he/she's looking a bit limp in the pic probably due to the shock at being snatched up quickly... I'm sure they'll be fully aware and wriggling as they're swallowed down into that belly, it will undoubtedly be disorientating but I'm sure they'll start to settle. C:
It only works with tamed ridable dinos, sadly, and I haven't tested with all the ridables. But basically, you use the invincibility and infinite stat cheats to keep from dying, the size cheat while riding a dino to change their size, the ghost cheat to fly up to their maw and ignore hitboxes, then the walk cheat to land in their maw. =P Though, exactly where you have to land to not be pushed out by the hitbox is different on each ridable. I'd also suggest not having anything you wouldn't want to lose on your person and maybe a torch to illuminate the maw once you find the sweet spot. And have your dinos set to passive for good measure. Also, don't try to ride a dino while having the ghost cheat activated. Because it'll break the game and you won't be able to land on any solid surface no matter how many times you use the walk cheat. And if anything goes awry, just popping out then back in resets everything. Though, you may find yourself spawning in the air where your dino's maw used to be. Naturally, growing a dino too big makes them phase in and out of existence, but generally I've used size 20 for, say a Rex, and size 5 for a bronto and both of those worked pretty well.
Ark really, really did make the spino a beautiful thing. I won't even look at the two legged JP3 version anymore, not with just how gorgeous and more accurate the Ark version is. Plus there really are like some kinf of big energetic dino puppy, bouncing around and snapping up food.~
Aye... it's quite handy actually if you're out adventuring with your carnivore pal and you get taken out; they'll make sure to eat your corpse and store your belongings for you when you respawn and regroup.
Of course wild dinos also nom your drops too, so it wasn't unusual to tackle a raptor or carnotaurus and find player items in its inventory. XD
