This is why my prices at cons are so low, especially for sketches. People who are just getting into things, not knowing what they want or how to go about finding out, probably won't want to spend $30 on a sketch of something they don't know if they will be attached to or even like.
In short, you could say I'm a gateway artist. I get them hooked and they can't help but want more! ;)
