A (not so)quick explanation of how pants works in the universe of Chuvareu.
Or in mostly of my drawings/characters, in general lines.

It's just my personal perception of how it works but due to a comment made by JoytheEspeon on a past drawing, I felt like it was worth sharing! I actually found it very fun to sketch and write, it's rly fun to develop my own things. I hope you'll like it somehow! Thanks for checking,

CONCEPT OF THE PANTS/

Mostly of the pants have an "U" shaped gap on the back, where goes the tail, that way those who have long tails don't need to bother passing them through a hole every time they need to put or remove their pants. There are three basic styles:
I. With extra fabric strips on the end of each side, you just need to tie them together to adjust it to your tail size, if the tail is too slender, there'll be lots of spare fabric and you'll get a big ribbon/knot over it. This is very comfortable but more casual. (Mawingu wears it.)
II. With belt loops, you can just use a belt to hang the pants over your tail and also adjust it to the proper size, if the tail is too slim you'll have a quite frilled look on the waits. This option is the most used by species with very large and robust tails, since they have the size to support the belt. (the alligator camera-guy wears it.)
III. With buttons on the back, similar to the button/zipper we have on the front of our human pants, you just keep open the buttons where your tail goes. These models tend to also have belt loops, because differently from the two other styles they don't fit different waist measures. (Akira's uniform have this kind of pants.)

I, II and III are the most common pants, and mostly brands will do them, since they may fit different species with simple adjusts the owner may do without help. Whoever, there are some more special kind of pants.

IV. With holes from where the tail come out, it's most used by species with short tail since those with long ones may have a hard time passing it through the hole. The good thing of those pants is that they always fit perfectly well, the problem is that they fit specific kinds of tails/species. If a cat tries to wear a pant used by a crocodile, it's whole ass will show by the hole. Also, some species with tails whose the end is larger than the beginner also can't use it. (Kito wears it, his outfits are custom made by Chuva.)
V. For animals who doesn't have a tail at all, like great apes. These pants are exactly like the ones we have on the real-human-world. Even though these are designated for tail-less animals, it's possible -yet not very comfortable- for tailed ones wear it, the tail will mostly like need to come from above the pants, and will sometimes make it bend. (Arco wears it.)
VI. Lastly but not less important, there are animals that don't have legs, like snakes. These wear skirt and toga-like clothes.

Skirts/dresses in general lines may follow any of the pants style, or don't have gaps nor holes at all, since it may just flow from under it.
