This is a much, much more simple design that the last two pieces that I added a couple of spirals too, instead of the typical tassel. The wire this was made from is most likely steel (I'm not entirely positive, but the damned stuff is incredibly sturdy and hard to shape, hence the small coils! It also took me about an hour to hammer the entire length of the main piece to the proper level of ....flatness? width?) Also, the glare is something I have to apologize for; I can't find decent lighting anywhere to get a picture of this thing without glare x3x
This piece is roughly 7 inches long and, I would be willing to sell it! :3

Well, fun fact; my mother has a small torch she uses to make beads (she's the one who got me on the wirecraft kick; I've actually been reading about this sort of thing for a few months :3) but as much as I fucking LOVE fire, I'm afraid to mess with it. plus I don't know how this metal would react to the heat and then being hammered. it might lose some of its strength altogether, which isn't good; I like it as it is now :3
If you might have an inkling into what type of metal it could be, it IS magnetic and it's psychotically difficult to bend without using much force (i. e., I couldn't make ringlets out of it without machinery to wrap it on a small dowel/spool. it bends at very wide angles).

Heh, you're playing with spring steel. Seriously, that kind of alloy is meant to be heated to be formed. The fact that you hammered the crap out of it only ends up cold hardening it, if you hammer it too much when cold it may scale and snap apart now that it's got a shear face to it.
seriously? Hmmmm.....I'll keep this in mind if I fiddle with this wire again. I might not though; the gauge is psycho thick ( 14 I think D: ) so it's not exactly appropriate for smaller delicate stuff such as this (then again it's still fairly sturdy in it's current state but...eh *shrug*)
