Slickness of skin is a direct lift from Axer's coloring style. The super-shiny highlight bits are the only thing I could effectively duplicate. Bloody god of coloring he is.

I mean, I could tell just by looking at the thumbnail that it was Leigh and Axer in the pic, so accurately you had modelled them Cougr. Yet, your own distinctive styling shines through in this image like the shininess you perfectly rendered on their scaled skin.
