I don't actually really like this painting but it's part of Kala's evolution so I figured I'd post it. Here he is actually looking quite young and - gasp - inna dress. Kala is often put in a dress as it makes it easier when his adopted mother takes him out because he'd rather just wet his shorts than take them off. Also, dresses are, in Kala's mind, much less of a hassle to get out. And you can get them dirtier which means you can convince your mother faster that you should be allowed to run around naked. All the time.

Occasionally, however, he does wear a dress just because it's pretty and he likes being pretty and he wants to impress his mate.

Here we see the continuation of the scales about his eyes - this picture doesn't portray it very well and, in general, is just not a very good picture. I hate his eyes here.
