NEW CHARACTER!
After going to Texas Furry Fiesta and seeing all of the characters with such deep background stories I decided I wanted to do something similar. Tohru is my baby, but she's just me. Nova is a CHARACTER. One I can play who's very difference than I am.
Nova is the Daughter of the Duke and Duchess of Angoria in the Scottish Highlands. She was raised to be a perfect royal daughter which meant keeping clean, knowing skills such as archery, sewing, and music and always behaving. Because of her royal status, her family kept her in intensive protection at home - which was nothing more than isolation. She has an older bother whom she grew jealous of, merely because of the fact that he had more attention and love from their parents than herself.
She tends to put a cold front because it is her only way to cope the things she was put through. As the result of her isolated childhood, Nova harbors a cold and brooding personality. She inadvertently lashes out at others and interacts poorly with people. Nova finds herself constantly distressed about not being able to communicate with people properly and often escaped into the forest to be alone. She enjoys exploring the forests and fields in the Highlands to find gems and flowers to decorate herself with and to think. She finds tranquility in nature though she's careful to avoid getting dirty.
All her life she had been respected merely for her family or social status. However, one servant named Reginald was particularly interested in her and because of his genuine kindness and services towards her, Nova eventually accepted him. Though she continued to treat him with some (unintended) bitterness, Nova began to warm up to Reginald, and eventually those around her as well. Over time, she came to see Reginald as almost family, and although her slight abrasive nature remained, she reached out to people people in the village more in attempt to better understand them.
tl;dr Nova was mistreated as a child and as a result is super mean to people but doesn't mean to be.
