Inspired by Fumikage Tokoyami from Boku no Hero Academia (The only cool character in the entire series), I decided to make a dark mage as well to complete Sarnu's planned arc.

"Although I cannot fly. Although I can only gaze at the sky, I will never stop dreaming."

With his wings damaged as a child because of an accident while learning to control his dark magic and his shadow partner, Sado, Nixsu was no longer able to glide and became the target for bullying by his people. Sarnu, knowing the pain of what it's like to be the target of all the mockery and bullying (because of his bad eyesights), approached and befriended Nixsu.

Over the year, they both showed sign of great magical talent, especially Sarnu who was able to wield both light and wind magic at the same time, earning him the surname "Lightwind" and was chosen to be a candidate to become the next chief of Mt.Arvean . Nixsu, impressed by Sarnu's progression, asked Sarnu to become his teacher, in which Sarnu agreed because Nixsu was the only one Sarnu actually cared about.

But one day, sick of the tradition of Mt.Arvean, Sarnu suddenly declared that he would leave Mt. Arvean and disappeared. The whole village began talking and referring to Sarnu as a "wasted potential". Nixsu, although he was mad at Sarnu's decision, was unable to stand his people for talking behind Sarnu's back like this when they all cherished him and worshipped him recently because of his skill.

Deciding that it was time for the tradition of Mt.Arvean to change, Nixsu practiced even harder than before. A few year later, he was able to master both the Dark magic and the Star magic, the hardest possible magic, earning him a spot as a chief candidate and the surname "Darkstar".

Now, Nixsu waits for the day of the "selection". The day the people of Mt. Arvean can change their way thinking and tradition, surely that day, Sarnu will return.

"There is no darkness without light. To me, Sarnu was my light and I will do anything to have him back."
