I was actually thinking about putting Peach or Rosalina(or even Princess Eclair, or what ever the one he was supposedly rescuing in Thousand Year Door was named...if she even exists) in there, since he actually has expressed some interest in both of them as well, and NEVER Daisy. In the end, though, I decided he'd be looking out for number 1(or number 2, in his case), because whenever he makes any sort of progress he tends to act like an arrogant ass about it, and even goes so far as to leave his younger self behind to dance on top of a Thwomp.
I figure the Peasley thing...I think Luigi thinks he's a girl, and just doesn't listen enough to hear the prince part.
I'm voting bi-curious on this one.

I think the real reason he's never made googly eyes at Daisy is because he's afraid of her...
All that is circumstantial tho.
Still, the whole Peasley thing is waaaaaay noticable, and frankly, I'm surprised nobody brings it up that often. Meanwhile, Daisy is annoying for one game, and suddenly she's ALWAYS annoying. To be fair, Luigi does fight like a pansy in Smash Bros. I really don't get it, though.
Perhaps he was just too eager to be the hero and wanted to woo the Beanbean "princess" before Mario could, and never caught on that Peasley was a dude.

You know, how in Super Smash Bros Brawl he goes "Bang-Bang" by shooting with imaginary guns and then goes "Pow Pow" and falls over like he got shot? It's like he really wants to die because of his Glory-hog brother.
