...well, we think he ate Cupid but we're not entirely sure and in what manner he did. Because at this point in Kala's evolution he was rather promiscuous and he might have eaten Cupid in a manner entirely not meant as food.

We are further along in his evolution here and you can see the beginning of what would become facial scales about his eyes. He also have pubic scales here show running up to his naval. If I ever get around to painting him in the nude again the pubic scales will be more scattered the further away from his genitals. He still has wings in this painting but I slowly abandon that concept - these days he does have wings but they are tiny, useless and vestigial remnants of some air fae in his family tree.

Also, as we progress, we can see my skill as an artist improving between each painting - if I were to redraw this his feet would be more in scale with his body and he would likely appear much more childlike than he does in this image - after all, Kala only looks about 6 or 7 years old!

...and my love of pink and the variations of purple are revealed slowly being revealed as each painting is posted. This is much to Kala's chagrin as he insists that his colouring is RED, damn it! And he's right of course!
