Ryuu Journals: Entry #12 The Best of Times ^_^
The strip along the left side going down is apart of one thing. In continuation of what happened in the last frame of my last entry, I moved to my permanent dorm and I spent my first night in "King" (Martin Luther King Jr.) Dorm. Compared to "Lincoln" Dorm (dorm for New Enrollies), King felt more like home when speaking in terms of the beds
Oh the beds were soft and the pillows more cushiony, the community (other residents) is not so good but I'd rather be here than in those other dorms that have beds that feel like the tables that the doctors at the clinics would have you sit on (the sheets actually felt like the paper that would be on the tables at the clinic and the pillows flat as a sweater). Also the beds in King are bunk beds and most important, there's HEAT. I swear, in the other dorms, I would have to fully wrap my whole body (head included) under the covers and still be a bit cold but just warm enough. When you lay in King's beds, you kind of sink in but when you lay in Lincoln or the other dorm's beds, it feels like the bed is rejecting you (it doesn't indent at all) It's springy but... stiff.
I woke up first in shock then realizing where I was I went on with my morning routine.
I am the only one in the whole dorm who gets up at 5am to prepare to clean up at 6am while everyone else waits for the RA (resident assistant or resident supervisor) to wake them up which is at 6:15am. It's really not their job to wake us up, everyone is just too lazy to get up on their own. It's all about developing the right habits and possesing a strong will.
The upper right (imagine the kill bill music when the screen would turn red when at an intense moment) was when I was shocked to hear that I was going to be the only one from our class:
The group of students who arrived on center on the same day
-who was staying in King Dorm. The other guy who was there with me had left because of some complications that I myself cannot explain.
The one below in the middle right is a drawing of Celeste and I from the game. I worked for 5yrs. at the job before I was fired and after that I was living off my savings until not too long, I was lucky to find a similar job that had less hrs. (I don't remember the pay though).
The last one was when a couple of representatives (each from a different bank of america) payed a visit to show our class about banking accounts. Maintaining, using, etc..
I was happy to apply for my first credit card. I was told that I would be recieving it through the mail.
