Well as seen here, Open Canvas has past my acid test and deemed worthy of being my new primary tool for doing art. For the acid test itself I wanted to render the alternate version of Tamias. But unlike the last time I did the alternate form I wanted to do two things. One is to depart from my usual style to do something radically different and two, I wanted push the chipmunk in Tamias as far as I can take it and still maintain a sentient anthropomorphic form. This includes an anatomically correct rodent head, obsidian rodent eyes geared for a field of view for detecting stalking predators, whiskers, fur colors, patterns, and features completely faithful to that of a real Eastern Chipmunk right down to the very last detail including the colors and textures of his claws. I am completely happy with the new software and the results of this project. So on that, I give you Tamias built on what I call the Anthropomorphic Chipmunk Mark 2. Oh and since I sometimes like to fit music to my characters, this Batalla music seems to fit this version of Tamias very well https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DurPFDn-ZXE&nohtml5=False
