Remapping refers to the game called Furcadia. In furcadia, people make avatars and they choose colors. If a portrait is remapping, it will allow their colors to show on the portrait itself, in game, and it will automatically update to new colors when they decide to change them, so the Portrait will always reflect their character accurately. This is especially helpful for characters who change their hair or clothing colors a lot. =)
