Greater Western Drakes are known for their pride fullness, often being vain to a fault- Young males often adorn themselves with gold and gems in order to demonstrate their prowess and wealth while the older more seasoned drakes care not for adding accoutrements to themselves, instead they maim and scar. For what better way to pacify a young drake than damaging what they care for most? This particular male seeks solace in a pool of lava, tending to his wounded face.










Decided to do a speed paint this morning, originally started out as a random doodle but I accidentally the entire picture! I tried to use Photoshop a little but for the life of me I couldn't figure it out.....I need to practice more with it since I do like the brushes in PS more. Ended up finishing this out in SAI I think it's a little dark but eh, it looks good I think.
