Yeah. One artist will do a bit of work on a document, then send it to the other, sometimes it's sent to one another more than once.
For example, Shaun sent the sketch to me, and then while I worked on rendering the character, he later on sent me the background file to splice onto the document. I later sent the file back to him to add finishing touches.
