Wyvern-1 is partially to blame for this character. Last night on my stream, we were talking about skylions, and he asked whether a skylion could have roadrunner as its bird half. The idea for a roadrunner/coyote skylion popped into my head. I immediately dropped what I was doing to create this character.
They can have canine back parts, although it's pretty rare. The dual tails are also super rare, but I did want her to have the long roadrunner tail.
Manaba (a Navajo name meaning "She returns to war") combines the speed of the roadrunner (although I am aware that in real life a coyote could easily outrun a roadrunner), and the smarts of Wile E. Coyote (but hopefully a bit smarter so she has enough sense to not buy products from the same company even though they ALWAYS break).
She is a desert surveyor and an unlikely ally for Firelia. However, since I love the concept behind the character... and Newie was throwing out funny suggestions for the character's personality and things that happen to her, she will likely become a main character in her own right.
