Furnal Equinox 2016 - Day 1
Before the night of Day One ended, I whipped on my partial lion fursuit and figured I'd see if I'd get some solo shots at the Fursuit Photobooth. And then maybe I'd interact in fursuit for a spell.
While down in the con space, I soon came across
who was hanging out with the caring reps of the Story Book Farm Primate Sanctuary. When I was asked and encouraged to attend more of Flow's events in addition to another potential Circus Meet for this year, I explained to her my difficult situation involving my life of constantly helping with errands with Mom while she's a full-time caregiver for our Type-2 Diabetes Grandma and my brother being the only one capable of working.
Now I've shared this unfortunate fact with many friends online, but that time around, by the time I quickly summed everything up... I felt like I wanted to break down and cry, and I think Flow could sense that in my voice. She sounded very empathetic/sympathetic and said something like, "don't worry, you're strong, Leo."
She's right. She's a good furry friend to me, and I'd hate to upset her if she saw me being weak to my own problems. I've got to maintain a positive attitude to keep the happiness alive at the con. So I fixed myself upright and flashed Flow a smile through my fursuit head.
Thanks, Flow. You're a good friend. :')
Also her puppet creature Epic was there to get some photos with her, me, and Batchu! Yay!
What you are looking at right now is one of many photos taken at this year's
with the fantastic theme choice of "Furry Superheroes."
This year in particular was my fifth furry convention I've ever attended.
