OK, this is the first time I have ever tried anything like this . . . and im still a little skeptical. I was originally going for a Gnoll, for a DnD character I'm making and I think he turned out more like a werewolf. Well, that being said I think he turned out ok.

Not true. If your a dark and evil warlord an army of stupid underlings who love to ravage and pillage is never a "terrible" thing to have floating around, although I think the smell would get to me after a while.

I think you did an outstanding job on this. He has so much character and expression, it is a wonderful piece. Damn, it almost makes me want to take him home and cuddle him....after a bath.

lol, the sad thing was I wanted to make him look cowardly or dark, yet he came out rather cuddly. He does have one of those "Aww" faces you see in some dogs. I appreciate the comment, lol.

Glad to know I'm not the only one who has trouble drawing hyenas! They're fiendishly and deceptively difficult little buggers to not make look like dogs, aye? This fellow looks very cute, in his own way. :)
