Indigo grabbed the sides of his massive, bouncing belly and sighed in relief, ignoring the muffled pleas of the red panda within him. His mouth was still watering and his tail wagging, the feeling of being nice and full giving the cheetah unparallelled delight. He hadn't skipped breakfast that morning—the thought alone was blasphemous—but Indigo had simply had the primal desire to consume someone since the minute he'd woken up. Originally he'd hoped to ignore the urge until after work, but when he'd read the email from HR asking him to find some way to cut hours that week, his mind had drifted to devious thoughts. Leo was always asking to go home early, and the red panda had put on a delectable amount of weight recently. The employee's eyes had lit up the moment he was offered the chance at a day off, then widened in terror once his boss had lunged at him, maw open wide. Despite Leo's newfound desire to continue working, Indigo wasn't eager to accept the change of heart.

The cheetah gave his belly a happy pat. “I might have to let you leave early a lot more often from now on, Leo...”
