Long Night Ahead (request)
A sea of nuclear fog rolls into the remains of a small ruined town in the middle of no where under a dark and unforgiving sky, rumbling with warning to those outside. Carrying only a duffle bag of supplies and two weapons with them, a pair of vagabonds dare to brave the fog, an air of desperation around them as they search a ruined shack. To their dismay the shack has been picked clean and battered so badly that it cannot even offer them the services of protecting them from the rain. Without a place to lay their heads for the night and quickly growing hungry the duo silently presses onward through the fog in the hopes of finding a settlement nearby or hopefully a trader. With the winds howling it's hard to tell if they're being followed or if the myriad of radioactive beasts that populate this unforgiving wasteland are moving in to make them their latest meal. As the soft pattering of rain begins to caress the dry dead ground only one thing is for sure; they have a long night ahead....
YES!!!!!! MOTHER OF GOD YES!!!!! https://youtu.be/VbxgYlcNxE8?t=13m40s I've finally finished the request for
BearBuster1 who has been a real trooper waiting for me. I started this picture like two or three weeks ago but became very sick and was forced to suspend work on this preventing me from finishing it within the week as per my usual work time. Feeling terrible that I had gotten sick and made him wait I decided to up the complexity of this picture as an apology and hopefully he'll like the way it turned out. I'm really happy with the fog around his Arctic wolf character's leg as it was my first time trying such an effect. It feels so good to finally get art pumping out again! Buddy, I hope you enjoy this as much as I did drawing it!
