Better known as "Pale Puma", the plant not the Puma in the center of course!
Both something for myself and a test, using mostly the marker brush in CSP/Manga Studio. To see how far I could push detail. I feel like with a few more hours I could do more too! I have a lot to learn about painting foliage. (much easier traditionally I feel)
Thanks for looking! I actually plan on doing more in this style. Should hopefully have prints or stickers at a con sometime this year. Suggestions for animal+plant combos are welcome! Not sure if I want to do a series of cats, (including rare/fairly unknown kinds) or North american animals. Dunno!
*Oh no way! this was my 1000th submission!

Gorgeous detail, I think the foliage turned out beautifully. I love how you really blended out the muzzle and whiskers, and all that fur detailing is gorgeous.
Do I see some symmetry ruler? It's my new favourite toy. :D Anyways, the 'oil pastel on canvas' tool gives a really gorgeous grain, but blends very smoothly. I'd highly suggest playing with it if you're in an experimental mood. I'll have to hunt down and try out the marker tool now, it gave you some gorgeous clean lines. :O
