I've seen Black Opal and she's awesome! But I thought she was a game character and I just east up to date on the newest cool game haha! I think it's neat you drew her in different styles. I was looking at them all today before taking my kids out and it looks like great practice 👍🏻 Have you a whole background story on her?

Black Opal - my gemsona (gem OC) from Steven Universe series.
Black Opal was a general who served Blue Diamond. Even without accepting the policy the Blue and other Diamonds, she has achieved the rank of general in the hope that she would be able to influence the final decisions of its ruler (or on their execution) Black Opal respected among the troops. Since the beginning of the war, she refused to obey orders and immediately escaped. It hides on all the forgotten planet, and plans to overthrow the Blue Diamond to stop the destruction of other civilizations.
But I am more think of her as an image of tranquility, confidence and freedom. I do not think of her as a character invented by me through the universe of children's TV series.

Interesting, I like her. I see my drow character similarly to how you see yours I think. Mine was inspired by Forgotten Realms but at the same time I don't see her as a character I invented through any series by them. You perfectly described my feelings towards her though 💙

I really like that you've taken Black Opal and practiced so many different styles. I hope you don't mind me taking that idea and trying out many styles with my drow OC. I think this would be such good practice for me to draw my Nyxura 😊
