Lol Oh man... 22 and this one would make some adorable little otters for sure XD But nah, two totally seperate people got those XD And thank you so much! I love how she turned out! :D Giant River Otters are so adorable, but all the pictures I was pulling up for reference made them look so derpy.
Very nice. Especially the nose of the giant otter which is mostly hidden is done well. The muzzle is lovely and the feet look very convincing. Only thing that is not as a giant river otter is a flattening tail. But I dont care I like these rounded tapering tails. Definitely a favorite :) More otters ;)
Thank you so much darlin! I was having a devil of a time finding good reference for river otters, I couldn't track down much. But I'll make sure I remember the flattening tail for the next time I doodle up one of these gorgeous otters! :p

No problem. I understand about the dexterity thing and it really is no problem :) Just watch videos of them and you will see that if he is swimming his nose, eyes and ears are close on the surface. Imaginary on one line. :) Well I must say if I draw other species I have the same problem sometimes :)
:O I'm gonna go watch ALL the videos!!! Oh my goodness!!! I've been hella into ferret videos since the roommates got one, but otters... omg otters!
And oh man... There's so many rules to the anatomy of so many species! It's so hard to keep em straight half the time. TT_TT Someday though. Someday I shall know all the tips and tricks!
