YES, It's true! Kai is now a Liger.
This comes after many months of debating and playing around with the design. I was really hesitant about going through with it, mainly because my account name is "Kai the LION," but ultimately I feel like that's a silly thing to be holding me back from evolving my character.

To be perfectly honest, this change was inevitable. When I was originally creating Kai, it was really up in the air whether I would make him a lion or a tiger. (Ultimately I chose a lion because of the mane and because I was afraid to draw stripes!) xD

As I've become a better artist and a bit more confident with my tigers, I figured "Why not mess around with designs and see what I come up with?" From there I accidentally made this design, which I immediately fell in love with. ^^

If you were a close observer, you may have noticed the subtle hints of tiger-ness in Kai's design over the years. The more poofy tail, for example. Or perhaps more obviously, the ears. He's basically had tiger ears for multiple years now, so all that was missing was the stripes! x3

Anyways, hopefully this isn't too upsetting to people! It will take me a while to update all of my profile thingies to reflect Kai's new design, but I think it'll be worth it! ^^

I'm EXTREMELY appreciative that you guys supported this "change" so much, but I'm NOT changing Kai's design any time soon, let alone his SPECIES!

Granted, I may have gone too far with the Asparagus Subterfuge, but I hope you know this was all in good fun. ^^;

Although I am not changing Kai's design, I am more than happy to keep this as an alternate version of Kai. (Much like Shiba Kai from last year.)
