What a fantastic drawing! The incredible use of contrast and the correct render of indoor lighting simply cannot be fully apreciated except by those who've actually tried this sort of work!
Is this a charcoal or graphite work? I find it very difficult to make such dark values with nothing less than charcoal, yet the shading of the grey tones suggests this is a graphite piece. Praytell, what medium was used to make this excellent drawing?
