As a macro fan, I always loved that series, I actually own the Robotech box set. And yes, I know it wasn't really the same thing, but considering it combined Macross with two unrelated series, and had a flow that worked fairly well, I think it rocked. Also the girl on the left makes me think of that female Road Rover.
