Sometimes when I have artist's block, I create the dragon version of an existing reptile to help get things moving. This one is based on the rather plain, but still magnificent, long-tailed grass lizard.
As a lizard, they have rather short legs to stay low in the grass. I imagine that the dragon version would have small wings instead, useful only for display or helping to stay safe in long falls.
