My parents brought this back for me from Churchill, Manitoba perhaps 6 or 7 years ago. It came back in a plastic garbage bag with mummified nasal cartilage, which I had to soak and pull out with a pair of pliers. My mother is the sort of person who disinfects her doorknobs daily... I have NO idea what possessed her to be so AWESOME and bring this back.
I'm not entirely sure how it died, but I am told it was from their nature tour guide's backyard. Given the mentality up there, it either died of natural causes and was scavenged or they ate it. Either way, I think it's pretty spiffy.
