Decide to drav something nice and came up with this version of cinderella. The era in tis vision is somewhere in the XX century.
The prince is an gentelman not a royalty and th cinderella is a lovely young lady from the last night dance.
My consporacy theory is that the whole "finding the one by the shoo" is only a cover to just pick the suitable lady fot the "prince". He never find any shoe and the ladies wasnt in the hurry to loose any part of their outfit.
I think that he just want to get married andhe came with the whole charade with the shoes to be able to do close examinations of the candidates without announcing courtship.
Thats why the shoe is symbollic and dont have to be exact her shoe.

I think thaat the shoe is symbollic and he has many of them for the ocasion when he want to "find the right one" for the lady. It is cheaper for him to buy few pairs of shoes snd fit the right on for the right lady.
So either she is not the type or he is trying to fit another shoe for her.
Or he is just a salesman who is trying to sell semeone wrong shoes :P
