My Easter story for this year, and this time it is about the fat dog Ferdinand getting more then a few eggs in his belly as a result when he goes Easter hunting.

It was finally that time of year again!

Easter!

In just about every home there was decorations and celebrations in full swing, and at the mansion belonging to Miss Figg things was no different as it had eggs and bunny decorations everywhere!

It was going to be the most festive looking place in the whole town, and there was just one last little preparation missing.

"Ferdinand my dear. Will you be so kind and come out here my little friend." Miss Figg asked nicely, as she and Tom & Jerry was awaiting for the very well-feed dog of the house to join them.

And after some hesitation the dog in question made his entrance on his skateboard...while wearing bunny ears and having his face painted to look like one!

While his owner looked so proud and pleased over how her pet was looking, the cat and mouse duo looked like they could barley keep a straight face over the sight!

This was all a very embarrassing outfit for him to wear but there existed one positive thing about all of this, and that was since it was Easter that he was first going to go on an egg hunt and then later give it all away to very special dog of his.

The beautiful female poodle living next door named Vanessa.

Giving her a basket full of brightly coloured eggs would be the best gift ever in his eyes, and neither limited mobility or bunny ears was going to prevent this pudgy dog to succeed with his mission!

After he had been forced to take probably 100 humiliating photos with his owner Ferdinand had grabbed a wooden basket and been heading out into the large mansion garden in his search for eggs! (Unknowingly with Tom & Jerry once again hot on his trails to prank him!)

Knowing that bushes was one of the oldest tricks to go with when hiding eggs, and after looking through only a few of them he had managed to find 6 eggs already!

Feeling that he had already now a pretty good amount of eggs (Plus that his massive belly made itself known) Ferdinand couldn't resist the urge to eat at least one of them, and did there fore the task leaning the basket over his head slightly while opening his mouth wide.

While this was happening Tom & Jerry was lurking in another bush, and the cat was armed with a slingshot! Laying a small rock into it Tom strapped the slingshot up, and then set it off flying at great speed!

The small pebble hit into bottom of the basket slightly, but that was enough of a force to put everything Ferdinand was doing off balance!

For the fat the dog all of the sudden the basket he holding was tipping over, and in the next second all 6 of the eggs in it was now disappearing down his throat before having the basket land over his face!

Taking it off of him Ferdinand first was staring blindly into the thing (hoping that against all odds something was left), before feeling how full his belly was and realising the sad truth that he had now eaten all of them.

There was little to nothing he could do at this point since Ferdinand knew fully well that anything that had been entering into his huge stomach would most likely to be seen again, so all he could do now was to start looking for a second bunch of eggs.

This time when looking around the dog noticed that there happen to be a whole lot of upside down turned flower pots everywhere, and when he lifted one it confirmed just what he had thought. There was eggs hidden under these as well!

After collecting 8 eggs this time Ferdinand decided to hold the handle of the basket in his mouth this as he was using his four paws to steer the skateboard towards the front of the house, from where he was suppose to wait for Vanessa's visit to him.

It was now Jerry's turn to play around with the dog, and given his smaller size the mouse had to use even smaller things to make his plan work.

Luckily for him his plan so simple in execution that all it took was an even small piece of rock to toss onto the moving lane of the skateboard to give the effect he wished for.

Once hitting the speed bump that was the rock one of Ferdinan'd wheels made a small jump, which in return cause the dog riding the board to jump forward, which (thanks to the changed level of weight) cause the front end of the board make contact with the ground and grind it to a halt, making Ferdinand (And his basket) fly forward a couple of inches!

Still holding the basket in his mouth Ferdinand made face first contact with it, and in an act of instinct to not make the eggs break open up his mouth, and got all 8 of them swallowed by force!

First a second later had he realised just what he had done, and by then all the eggs was once again gone.

Having both little time and eggs left Ferdinand really knew that he needed to act fast if he wanted to find something to impress Vanessa with, and as he was rounding the corner of the house he saw it.

It was a full blown Ostrich egg, 6 inches in diameter, 5 pounds of weight, and painted in all the colours of the rainbow!

It was a sight beyond anything else, and it would make the perfect gift for Vanessa!

But as Ferdinand started to rush towards the giant egg so did even Tom & Jerry, and to the dog's horror he could see how the cat and mouse duo came first and picked up the egg!

For the two of them they truly had Ferdinand in the grip right now, and since the dog had decided into really wanting the egg then that was just what they where going to give him!

After a silent count of "1,2,3!" the two of them tossed the massive thing up into the air, and having only in mind to "save the thing, but not break it" there was sadly only one thing that Ferdinand could do.

GULP!

With one massive gulp Ferdinand had swallowed down the egg that was about the size of his own belly, and after doing that the dog (very understandably) fell backwards and felt as full as he could be now!

Walking over to him Tom & Jerry was expecting to maybe see the dog being passed out from all his eating or something, but they walked up they found him to be crying! (And not just a little bit!)

Realising first now that collecting these eggs actually was something very important for him the otherwise comedic duo felt pretty heartbroken at the moment over what they had done. and was wondering if there existed any other thing they could do to fix this?

As they looked at Ferdinand's bloated and egg filled body they both got the same brilliant idea, and quickly headed back to the house to get some paint!

At exactly 14:00 as planned Vanessa made her entrance to the home where her neighbour Ferdinand was living, and she was very curious to what this "Easter Surprise" that he had been promising could be.

Once walking in she got both surprised and flattered by what she saw.

Waiting for her was Tom, Jerry, and Ferdinand. (Who the two others had decided to body paint his massive belly to make it look like an Easter egg!)

Walking up and put one of her paws on her boyfriend's very colourful and stuffed belly fur Vanessa smiled, and gave him a small lick on the nose as kiss of appreciation.

It could have all ended nicely there when suddenly Jerry pointed out to the rest something behind Vanessa, and as they all looked they saw how there was now suddenly a basket full of colourful eggs placed out for them!

They all looked around but couldn't see anyone that could have been present a few seconds ago in order to put that thing out for them. So who did it?

Sticking out it's tall ears from behind a tree a certain character from the holiday admired the friendship and harmony that had in the end managed to be created, and he hoped that this wonderful feeling would also be shared by everyone else in the entire world.
