My very good friend  rosexknight was the one who really helped me flesh out the first ideas for Elias.

See, I'm not a fan of just putting a scarf on a Pokemon, or changing their colors very far off the original source.
Instead, I try to find ways that I can customize my character that are unique, but believable.

The idea for my Pokesona Mienshao here was something modern, dapper, and polite. Shaos are usually portrayed as rather leery-eyed and intensely focused.
I saw alot of potential though for expression through both the face and the paws, with those long water-sleeve fur whips!

Some of my friends really liked the fluffy pomfador atop his head, but after some consideration I decided to tone it down to a slight tuft instead, for all my future artworks.
